EXTENDING THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE MANILA METROPOLITAN THEATER FOUNDATION, INC., UP TO APRIL 19, 1991

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 405, dated April 19, 1989, the Manila Metropolitan Theater Foundation, Inc. was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one year to expire April 19, 1990;

WHEREAS, MET needs additional time to enable it to raise more funds for its laudable goals;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national fund campaign period of the Manila Metropolitan Theater Foundation, Inc., up to April 19, 1991.

For this purpose, all donations, bequests, gifts received by the Manila Metropolitan Theater, Inc. for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be free from all forms of taxes and shall be deductible in full from the income of the donor for purposes of computing his income tax liability, subject to the pertinent provisions of Section 94 (a) (3) and (b) (2) and 29 (h) (2) (c) (i) of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
