[ Proclamation No. 534, March 6, 1990 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 1990, AS “LAPU-LAPU CITY DAY”

WHEREAS, Friday, April 27, 1990, marks the Charter Anniversary of Lapu-Lapu City;

WHEREAS, the people of Lapu-Lapu City desire to celebrate this historic event with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, April 27, 1990, as “Lapu-Lapu City Day” in Lapu-Lapu City. This day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 6th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety.
