[ Proclamation No. 532, February 26, 1990 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, MARCH 2, 1990, AS “PROVINCE OF LA UNION DAY”

WHEREAS, Friday, March 2, 1990, marks the 140th Foundation Anniversary of the Province of La Union;

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of La Union desire to celebrate with fitting ceremonies this milestone in their provinces history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, March 2, 1990, as “Province of La Union Day”. The day, however, shall be a regular working day and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.ℒαwρhi৷
