EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 208, DATED OCTOBER 5, 1937, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE TALISAY-MINGLANILLA ESTATE FOREST RESERVE SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TALISAY AND MINGLANILLA, PROVINCE OF CEBU, A PARCEL OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN, AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR THE GUINDARUHAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL
Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and National Resources and pursuant to Section 18 of Presidential Decree No. 705, otherwise known as the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 208, dated October 5, 1937, which established the Talisay-Minglanilla Estate Forest Reserve situated in the Municipalities of Talisay and Minglanilla, Province of Cebu, a parcel of land embraced therein, and reserving the same for school site purposes of the Guindaruhan Barangay High School and more particularly described and bounded, as follows, to wit:
Beginning at Corner No. 1 of said parcel of land, which is identical to corner No. 208, Block-I, Talisay-Minglanilla Forest Reserve, Minglanilla, Cebu; thence S 31 deg. 51 W., 129.62 meters to corner No. 2 which is identical to corner No. 209 of Block-I, Talisay-Minglanilla Forest Reserve; thence S 88 deg. 22 W., 120.67 meters to corner No. 3, a stake; thence N 22 deg. 05" W., 71.06 meters to corner No. 4, a stake; thence S 62 deg. 06" W., 5.32 meters to corner No. 5, a stake; thence N 13 deg. 31" E., 60.30 meters to corner No. 6, a stake; thence S 64 deg. 48" E., 5.32 meters to corner No. 7, a stake; thence S 88 deg. 15" E., 201.62 meters to corner 1, the point of the beginning containing an area of TWENTY THOUSAND ONE (20,001) SQUARE METERS, more or less.ℒαwρhi৷
1. The administration and management of the area covered by the reservation shall be under the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. For this purpose, a five-year development plan shall be submitted to the Office of the President of the Philippines within one (1) year from the approval hereof, furnishing the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Forest Management Bureau copies thereof;
2. The extraction and utilization of timber and other forest products remaining in the area shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations; and
3. In the event that the area is no longer needed for the purpose stated, or its development has already been abandoned for a period of two (2) years, this proclamation is automatically withdrawn, revoked or cancelled and the subject area regains its original status as part and parcel of the forest land.
