DECLARING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 1990 AS CLARO M. RECTO DAY, A NON-WORKING SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEZON

WHEREAS, Thursday, February 8, 1990, marks the 100th birth anniversary of the late Senator Claro M. Recto;

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 463 dated September 12, 1989, the year 1990 was declared as Claro M. Recto centennial year in consonance with the Decade on Filipino Nationalism;

WHEREAS, in Kapasiyahan Blg. 24 of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Quezon, February 8, 1990 was sought to be declared as a non-working holiday in the Province of Quezon;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby declare Thursday, February 8, 1990 as “Claro M. Recto Day” in the Province of Quezon. The day shall be a non-working special day.ℒαwρhi৷
