[ Proclamation No. 253, April 22, 1988 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, APRIL 25, 1988, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF AKLAN.

WHEREAS, Monday, April 25, 1988, marks the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Province of Aklan; and

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Aklan should be afforded the opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, April 25, 1988, as a special holiday in the Province of Aklan.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
