DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 1988, A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, April 2, 1988, falls on a Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, both non-working holiday.

WHEREAS, the said day April 2, 1988, may be declared non-working special public holiday without detriment to public service, to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe and ponder on the significance of the lenten season.ℒαwρhi৷

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 2, 1988, a non-working special public holiday.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 24th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.
