[ Proclamation No. 221, February 23, 1988 ]

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1988, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 24, 1988, marks the 51st Charter Anniversary of the City of Cebu; and

WHEREAS, the people of the City of Cebu should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 24, 1988, as a Special Day in the City of Cebu.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
