[ Proclamation No. 85, March 9, 1987 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, MARCH 16, 1987, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY.

WHEREAS, Monday, March 16, 1987, marks the Golden Anniversary of the founding of Davao City; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the City should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their Citys history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, March 16, 1987, as a non-working special public holiday in Davao City.
