DECLARING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1987, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY.

WHEREAS, Friday, February 27, 1987, marks the 48th Foundation Anniversary of General Santos City; and

WHEREAS, the residents of General Santos City should be afforded full opportunity to fittingly observe the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, February 27, 1987, as a non-working special public holiday in the City of General Santos.
