[ Proclamation No. 35, October 11, 1986 ]

DECLARING THE THIRD WEEK OF OCTOBER OF EVERY YEAR AS QUALITY CONTROL WEEK

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1905 has set aside the third week of October as a period during which concerted efforts may be undertaken to promote quality control.

WHEREAS, the production of quality outputs should be the continuing concern of both the government and private sector; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to further enhance the quality control awareness of all members of the Philippine society.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare that the third week of October of every year be continued to be celebrated as Quality Control Week. The Ministry of Trade and Industry and other concerned government agencies are therefore enjoined to coordinate with the Philippine Society for Quality Control, Inc. to ensure a more productive and meaningful celebration.1aшphi1
