DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 1986, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CAVITE

WHEREAS, September 12, 1986 marks the 90th Death Anniversary of the XIII Martyrs;

WHEREAS, September 12, 1986, falls within the “Linggo ng Lungsod” week celebrated every year to commemorate the conversion of the Municipality to a chartered city which is held from September 7, to September 14; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Cavite City shall be given the opportunity to celebrate these two commemorative events with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, September 12, 1986, as a non-working special public holiday in the City of Cavite.1aшphi1
