DECLARING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6 AND 7, 1986, AS NATIONWIDE NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Batas Pambansa Blg. 883, a special election for President and Vice-President has been called on February 7, 1986; and

WHEREAS, to give all registered voters fullest opportunity to exercise their right of suffrage, February 6 and 7, may be declared nationwide non-working special public holidays.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday and Friday, February 6 and 7, 1536, as nationwide non-working special public holidays.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
