DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 1986, AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO.

WHEREAS, June 19, 1986, marks the one hundredth twenty-fifth (125) birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Laguna, his birthplace should at least be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;

NOW, THEREFORE, I CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, June 19, 1986, as a non-working special public holiday in the Province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
