DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 1935, AS BATTLE OF PINAGLABANAN DAY, IN SAN JUAN, METRO MANILA.

WHEREAS, the 89th anniversary of the Battle of Pinaglabanan, an important event in our struggle for freedom, falls on August 30, 1985;

WHEREAS, said historical event is of special significance to the residents of San Juan, Metro Manila, and

WHEREAS, the people of San Juan should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, August 30, 1985, as “Battle of Pinaglabanan Day,” in San Juan, Metro Manila.1aшphi1 The day, however, shall be a non-working special public holiday.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
