DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 1985, A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
WHEREAS, the people will once again celebrate the Holy Week; and
WHEREAS, the people may be given a day off without detriment to public service on Saturday, April 6, 1985, to allow them uninterrupted opportunity to ponder and reflect on the significance of Lent;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 6, 1985, a non-working special public holiday.
