DECLARING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1959, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF DUMAGUETE

WHEREAS, the eleventh anniversary of the organization of the City of Dumaguete falls on November 24, 1989;

WHEREAS, the people of said city desire that they be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriatee ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I. CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 80 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, November 24, 1959, as a special public holiday in the City of Dumaguete.
