MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 588, May 22, 1959 ] REVOKING PROCLAMATION NO. 400, DATED MAY 4, 1939, ESTABLISHING A PARK AND PLAYGROUND RESERVATION SITE IN THE CITY OF DAVAO AND OPENING THE SAME TO DISPOSITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, do hereby revoke Proclamation No. 400, dated May 4, 1939, which reserved a parcel of land in the City of Davao containing an area of 199,114 square meters for park and playground purposes and open the same to disposition in accordance with the provisions of the Public Land Act.
