MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 7, August 23, 2001 ] In view of the continuous rains and the flooding of the streets in Metro Manila today, work in all government offices, including government owned and controlled corporations, is hereby suspended effective 12:01 P.M. today. Government agencies performing vital functions shall, however, maintain a skeletal work force to ensure delivery of services and continuity of their operations.
