[ Memorandum Circular No. 3, April 10, 2001 ]

All employees of government offices, including government owned and controlled corporations, may take the afternoon off effective 12:01 P.M. of April 11, 2001, to enable them to participate fully in the traditional observance of Lenten Season. Government agencies performing vital functions shall, however, maintain a skeletal work force to continue their operations.1âшphi1

Government offices shall resume normal operations on April 16, 2001.

This Circular takes effect immediately.
