MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Memorandum Circular No. 173, March 6, 1998 ] ENJOINING ALL AWARD-GIVING GOVERNMENT OFFICES THEIR COOPERATION IN PROVIDING THE NATIONAL CENTENNIAL COMMISSION – WOMEN SECTOR (NCC-WS) THE LIST OF THEIR WOMEN AWARDEES The NCC-WS is currently compiling biographies of Filipino women for inclusion in their forthcoming publication entitled “BIO-BIBLIOGRAPHY OF OUTSTANDING FILIPINO WOMEN: A CENTENNIAL COMPILATION.” Among their target of 1000 women, the NCC-WS shall include the recipients of awards from award-giving bodies of government which give awards for outstanding contribution to nationbuilding.1âшphi1 In this connection, all award-giving government offices are enjoined to provide the NCC-WS the list of their respective awardees together with their citations, brief biographies and photos.
