DIRECTING ALL HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND OTHER CONCERNED AGENCIES, GOVERNMENT INSTRUMENTALITIES OR GOVERNMENT-OWNED-AND CONTROLLED-CORPORATIONS, TO DESIGNATE THEIR RESPECTIVE LEGISLATIVE LIAISON OFFICERS AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS WHO SHALL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE LEGISLATIVE LIAISON SYSTEM (LLS) STRATEGIC WORKSHOP-SEMINAR BEING ORGANIZED BY THE PRESIDENTIAL LEGISLATIVE LIAISON OFFICE (PLLO)

In support of the Administration’s efforts toward sustaining the atmosphere of Executive-Legislative cooperation and in pursuit of the President’s Legislative Agenda in the 10th Congress, all government departments and other concerned agencies, government instrumentalities or GOCCs are hereby enjoined to extend full cooperation in the conduct of the workshop-seminar being organized by the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) entitled, “Energizing the Legislative Liaison System (LLS) in Support of PFVR’s Legislative Agenda in the 10th Congress” set for August 11 – 13, 1995 at the Development Academy of the Philippines Conference Center in Tagaytay City. Specifically the activity is aimed at strengthening the LLS, raising the level of familiarity of its members about the President’s Agenda vis-a-vis priority national programs, and establishing a comprehensive and integrated mechanism for strategic shepherding of Administration measures and sectoral legislative concerns.1aшphi1

Relatedly, all departments and other concerned agencies, government instrumentalities and GOCCs are hereby directed to officially designate within the next three days a full-time Legislative Liaison Officer, preferably with a rank of at least Assistant Secretary, who shall be required to attend and participate in said LLS Workshop on official business, together with at least two (2) technical-liaising assistants, each assigned to liaise in the Senate and in the House of Representatives.

However, the incidental costs for each participant for the duration of the workshop, including entitlement to registration fee, transportation expenses, accommodation and per diems, shall be borne by the participating departments, agencies, government instrumentalities and GOCC.
