AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE NATIONAL SEMINAR ON EFFECTIVE RURAL INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND DYNAMICS OF SELF GROWTH.

The Rural Information Council, in coordination with the National Media Production Carter, will conduct a national seminar on “Effective Rural Information Communication and Dynamics of Self-Growth” on September 2-11, 1973, at the Carmelite Tertiary House, Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.

The main feature will be discussions on RIC Perspective, Goals and Functions, The Profile of the Barrio Man, Psychology of Communications, Skills in Data Gathering, Selection, Analysis and Evaluation of Information for Broadcast in the Context of RIC objectives, Trends in Radio Broadcasting for Rural Audience, Scripting for Radio, Radio Announcing and Interviewing, and Print Reporting.

Considering the timeliness of the seminar in relation to the campaign for an enlightened citizenry, particularly those in the rural areas, all heads of departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned of controlled corporations are hereby authorize, to send to the seminar the officials and employees under them who are members of the Council and other government information officers assigned in Manila and different provinces, with reasonable expenses for ordinary actual transportation, subsistence, lodging and seminar fees, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective agencies, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective department heads a report on their attendance within fifteen (15) days after the seminar.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
