CREATING AN AD HOC CUSTODIAL COMMITTEE FOR THE FUNDS, RECORDS AND OTHER ASSETS OF THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND AN AD HOC TRANSFER AND LIQUIDATION COMMITTEE FOR THE ORDERLY TRANSFER OF ITS ASSETS AND LIQUIDATION.

Presidential Decree No. 209, dated June 7, 1373, abolished the Mountain Province Development Authority (MPDA) and its functions and funds are transferred to the four (4) Mountain Provinces and the Bureau of Forest Development. To effect such transfer in an orderly end expeditious manner, an ad hoc Custodial Committee and an ad hoc Transfer and Liquidation Committee are hereby created with the following respective composition and functions:

The Custodial Committee shall take charge of the safekeeping of the funds, records and other assets of the MPDA and shall coordinate with the transfer and Liquidation Committee hereby also created, the Board of Liquidators and the local and national government entities to which the functions and funds of the MPDA have been transferred, as provided in the aforementioned Presidential Decree No. 209, in the liquidation of the affairs of the MPDA.

Chairman: Representative of the Board of Liquidators
Members: Sinai C. Hamada
A representative of the Bureau of Forest Development
A representative of the Provincial Government of Ifugao
A representative of the Provincial Government of Benguet
A representative of the Provincial Government of Kalinga-Apayao
A representative of the Provincial Government of Mountain Province

The Transfer and Liquidation Committee shall take charge of the orderly transfer of the funds, records and properties of the KPDA as provided in said Presidential Decree No. 209.

The Committees may exercise such other powers as are necessary pursuant to their objectives and functions.

The Committees shall cease upon the completion of their functions but not later than August 31, 1973.

In addition, the Board of Liquidators shall take the necessary action relevant to the liquidation of the affairs of the MFDA not covered by said Presidential Decree No. 209 by virtue of its inherent responsibilities and functions.
