URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR ON AGRARIAN REFORM

The U.P. Agrarian Reform Institute will conduct a seminar on Agrarian Reform at the conference room, 4th floor of Melchor Hall, University of the Philippines, Quezon City, on July 23-28, 1973, on the theme: “Agrarian Reform in Philippine Development: Present Trends and Future Direction.”

Designed for policy-makers, administrators, educators, scholars, and scientists, the seminar seeks to provide a forum for a thorough exchange of ideas and experiences on the theory and practice of agrarian reform, as well as review of its implementation so that, guided by the lessons of experience, the present and future direction of the program can be fully understood.

Considering the timeliness of the seminars in relation to the national objective towards the realization of social and economic development, all department, bureaus and offices, including government subdivisions and government-owned or controlled corporations in the Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog regions are hereby authorized to send not more than one (1) senior official involved in the agrarian reform program or whose duties are relevant thereto.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷ The participants therein shall be provided with reasonable expenses for ordinary actual transportation, subsistence lodging and seminar fees, chargeable against the appropriation of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective department heads a report of their attendance and participation within fifteen (15) days after the seminar.
