REQUIRING THE REQUISITIONS OF MEDALS, DECORATIONS AND INSIGNIA ONLY FROM BONAFIDE ENGRAVERS WITH THE PRESCRIBED PERMIT FROM THE SECRETARY OF NATIONAL DEFENSE AND WHOSE MEDALS, DECORATIONS AND INSIGNIA HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE PHILIPPINES HERALDRY COMMITTEE

In order to ensure strict compliance with the provisions of Section 3 of Republic Act No. 493, prohibiting the “use, wearing, manufacture and sale of any medal or decoration, badge, insignia, patch, or identification card which has been, or may hereafter be, authorized by Congress or prescribed or awarded by the President of the Philippines or the Secretary of National Defense for the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, except when authorized under such regulations as may be prescribed by the Secretary of National Defense,” all government offices concerned are hereby enjoined to consider requisitions for medals, decorations and insignia only from bonafide engravers who have the required permit from the Secretary of National Defense, and whose medals, decorations and insignia have been approved by the Philippines Heraldry Committee.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
