URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE FIRST REGIONAL CONFERENCE ON MANAGEMENT SPONSORED BY THE PHILIPPINE COUNCIL OF MANAGEMENTS

The Philippine Council of Management (PHILCOMAN), the country’s roof organization for management, is sponsoring the First Regional Conference on Management on the theme: “The New Society Manger in National Development.” Phase I of this Conference will be held at the Vicar Hotel in Dagupan City on June 29-30, 1973.

The conferees will discuss the vital role of the manager in the New Society along such major areas as public administration, local development, labor management relations, commerce and industry, management education, and banking and finance.

In view of the timeliness of the Conference theme, all Heads of Departments and Chiefs of bureaus and offices and government-owned and controlled corporations, including Presidential Regional Officers for Development (PROD) for Regions I, II and III are hereby authorized to send to the Conference not more than five (5) of their field officials or such of their field personnel as are involved in management who are stationed in and around Dagupan City. Their participation shall be on official business that is with reasonable expenses for transportation and other expenses incident thereto in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 3847, as implemented by GAO General Circular No. 88-A, series of 1964, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a report of their attendance and participation in the Conference within thirty (3) days after the termination thereof.⚖ - ℒαɯρhi৷
