AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING IN LEGASPI CITY OF AN EVALUATION CONFERENCE OF THE BICOL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING BOARD.

The Bicol Development Planning Board created in Executive Order No. 159, s. 1965, to “conduct scientific and systematic surveys of the assets and potentialities of the Bicol region, plan its development, and pool the resources of the provinces and cities thereof for the implementation of programs to enhance the economics, social, industrial and commercial development and the general welfare of the region and its people,” is holding a conference in Legaspi City on October 5, 1966, to assess and evaluate progress of the work it has initially undertaken and to explore other possible ways towards the attainment of its objectives.

All Chiefs of Provincial and City Governments and National Government regional offices within the Bicol region are hereby authorized to attend this conference. Their attendance shall be on official time and their expenses for travel and per diems shall be chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.1âшphi1

The Board shall prepare a report on the conference, furnishing this Office a copy thereof.
