URGING PARTICIPATION IN THE TRAINING PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES.

The School of Economics of the University of the Philippines, with the assistance of the University of Wisconsin, will conduct its Second Training Program in Development Economics from July 1966 to April 1967.

This Training Program is designed specifically to improve the skills of persons engaged in substantive planning work along the specialized techniques and procedures of planning and programming for economic growth.

Offices and agencies of the government involved in planning and programming, including government-owned and/or controlled corporations, regional planning authorities and entities with an overall planning and coordinating perspective, are hereby urged to send their technical personnel who meet the qualification requirements to attend the Training Program. Participation in this Program may be authorized by the Department Head concerned to be on official time. Transportation and meal allowances will be provided each participant by the U.P. School of Economics.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads monthly reports on their attendance and participation in the training program.1âшphi1
