Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of the Court En Banc dated 7 October 2003.

"Bar Matter No. 1222.- Re: 2003 Bar Examinations.- The Court Resolved to NOTE Resolution No. 23, Series of 2003, of the Cebu City Chapter of the IBP "Condemning The Leakage On Last Sunday's Bar Examination On Mercantile Law And Urging The Honorable Supreme Court To Conduct A Fair, Speedy, And Open Investigation To Determine The Culprits Thereof And To Impose The Appropriate Penalty On Those Responsible For Said Leakage."

The Court further Resolved to NOTE WITHOUT ACTION the Letter and the Very Urgent Amended Petition for Reconsideration with Proposal, both dated 6 October 2003 of Atty. Claro B. Flores, it appearing that Atty. Flores is not a party to this bar matter.

Moreover, the Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of the Bar Confidant, with recommending approval of Associate Justice Jose C. Vitug, Chairman, 2003 Bar Examinations Committee, to ADOPT the following computation in the allocation of the fifteen percentage points for Mercantile Law among the remaining seven (7) Bar Examination subjects:
